So watch and learn different styles of chopping a tomato only on Rajshri Food.<br /><br />Tomato<br />Cutting Board<br />A Sharp Knife<br />1 tbsp Oil<br />Salt to taste<br />1 tsp Sugar<br /><br />Method:<br />Chopped Tomatoes<br />Cut the tomatoes into half and then cut it lengthwise.<br />Run a knife horizontally and cut it in a cris-cross pattern.<br /><br />Diced Tomato<br />Quarter the tomato, cut it into half or 3 parts.<br /><br />Quarters of Tomato<br />Chop off the cap of tomato.<br />Cut the tomato into half and then that half into 2 halves.<br /><br />Sliced Tomato<br />Keep the tomato firm, chop of the cap of the tomato.<br />Cut it into thick or thin slices like you want.<br /><br />Desseding the Tomato<br />Cut the tomato into half, then into a quarter, discard the portion that has pocket of seeds.<br /><br />Julienned Tomato<br />Keep the deseeded tomatoes face side up and cut it into thin strips.<br /><br />Blanched Tomatoes<br />With the help of a small knife, core and remove the eye of the tomato.<br />Give the tomato few gashes and place it inside the boiling water for 60 seconds.<br />Peel the skin off and cut it into half.<br />With the help of spoon remove the seeds.<br />Our Blanched and deseeded tomatoes are ready.<br /><br />Tomato Puree<br />Instant<br />Blend the blanched tomato and make puree.<br /><br />Tomato Concentrate<br />Blend the blanched tomato and make puree.<br />Transfer it to a vessel, add oil, salt, sugar and cook on high flame till the quantity reduced to 3/4 of the orginal quantity.
