The female-centric DC film <br />recently announced who <br />will star as Black Canary and <br />Huntress opposite Margot Robbie. Jurnee Smolett-Bell will be <br />playing the role of Black Canary. Mary Elizabeth Winstead will play Huntress. The opening of 'Birds of Prey' <br />will follow closely after the studio's <br />release of 'Joker' and 'Wonder Woman 1984.' February has proven to be a solid release date for comic book movies over the past few years, with 'Deadpool' earning $132.4 million and 'Black Panther' earning $202 million <br />on their respective opening weekends.
