This was the rare moment a cobra was caught on camera regurgitating another cobra,<br /><br />Harish Chandra Parida, a resident of Satyabadi in Puri district, Odisha, India, was shocked to find a big cobra in his kitchen on September 27. <br /><br />The 5-feet long cobra had taken refuge under a rice drum in the kitchen. <br /><br />A Snake Helpline volunteer Susant Behera responded to the distress call and rescued the cobra. <br /><br />But to Susant's surprise, the cobra started moving to regurgitate something. First, the tail, and slowly the full body of the smaller snake came out.<br /><br />Subhendu Mallik, General Secretary of Snake helpline, said: "When they sense danger, snakes regurgitate their meal to make a quick getaway. However, a cobra vomiting another cobra is surely a rare phenomenon."<br /><br />Indian spectacled cobras, like many snakes, are cannibals.
