Breathtaking footage of the Northern Lights seen in Iceland.<br /><br />The clip, filmed September 27, shows a stunning time-lapse of the natural lights in Djupivogur, Eastern Iceland.<br /><br />“I am currently touring Iceland to see the northern lights, it was a long drive to find clear skies before the incoming storm, it was a nice aurora for day one,” said the filmer Olivier Staiger.<br /><br />The phenomenon occurs when electrically charged particles from the sun interact with gasses in the earth's atmosphere, producing the famous greenish glow.
