According to Reuters, the Senate Judiciary Committee will ask the Trump administration to conduct another FBI background investigation into Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.<br />The committee issued the statement a day after a Senate hearing including Judge Kavanaugh, and a woman who accused him of sexual assault.<br />The statement said the supplemental investigation will be limited to current and credible allegations against Kavanaugh. <br />
