Rescuers Carry Bodies From Collapsed Roa Roa Hotel in City of Palu

<p>A 7.5-magnitude earthquake shook northern Sulawesi in Indonesia on Friday, September 28, as confirmed by Indonesia’s disaster management agency</a> (BNPB) on the same day.</p><p>The quake triggered a tsunami which caused waves as high as 6 metres</a> (20 feet) to roll through the coastal city of Palu.</p><p>According to a BNPB official</a> at least 50 people were trapped beneath the ruins of the Roa Roa Hotel in Palu city. In this video, rescuers are seen carrying a body from the mound of ruins.</p><p>As of September 30, at least 832 people were reported dead as a result of the earthquake and tsunami in Sulawesi, according to BNPB</a>.
