This is the moment a leopard attacks a herd and carries away a goat dodging shepherds. <br /><br />The shepherds were on a vigil after they had spotted a leopard in the vicinity. <br /><br />As they stood guard carrying sticks, the leopard came from a different direction and attacked the herd. <br /><br />“It sneaked out of a bush and hunt the goat at lightning speed,'' said a local forest officer.<br /><br />The incident occurred at the Nondimedu area in Ooty district, Tamil Nadu, India on October 1.<br /><br />Local residents said they have seen at least five leopard attacks in the past month.<br /><br />Forest officials said they were making preparations to trap the leopard.
