Residents of the Indonesian city of Palu survey the destruction caused by the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that struck off the coast of Sulawesi on September 28.<br /><br />Footage filmed the morning after the tremor shows cracks along the ground and flattened homes as far as the eye can see.<br /><br />The filmer, known as Sofyan, says in the clip: "This is the situation here. Everything is flat on the ground."<br /><br />Official figures from Indonesia's National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) increased the death toll from 844 to 1,234 following the earthquake and subsequent tsunami.
