Search and rescue teams continued their efforts to rescue survivors and remove corpses in Palu, Indonesia, where a 7.5-magnitude earthquake left more than 1,400 dead on September 28.<br /><br />This video shows structures reduced to rubble as rescuers transport a body bag.<br /><br />The devastated island was also hit by the eruption of Mount Soputan in the north, sending thick columns of ash and prompting authorities to warn locals to stay away.<br /><br />Mass burials are underway to mourn the lives lost.
