Typhoon Kong-rey is expected to near the main island of Okinawa, a prefecture on the southern tip of Japan, on Thursday and Friday.<br /><br />This video shows the churning waves on the shore of a beach in Okinawa on October 4.<br /><br />Officials are warning people to be prepared for strong winds, high waves, mudslides and flooding. Around 200 domestic flights as well as ferries and high-speed ships to and from Okinawa have been canceled in anticipation of the storm.<br /><br />Kong-rey comes just days after Typhoon Trami devastated Okinawa before passing through capital Tokyo, killing at least four and injuring hundreds more.
