CNN reports that some 259 people worldwide have died while taking selfies from 2011 to 2017.<br />That number comes from a study published in the Journal of Family Medicine and Primary Care.<br />Most deaths happen in India, Russia, the US, and Pakistan. 72% are men under 30 years old.<br />India accounted for more than half the total with 159 reported selfie deaths since 2011.<br />This is due to the country's enormous population of people under 30, which is the world's largest. <br />
