By performing Shradh, not only are the desires of pitars fulfilled, but they also get energy for their onward journey. A single intense desire is sufficient to hamper the onward journey; for, the energy obtained from the Shradh is utilized to fulfil that desire. Hence, when Shradh is performed regularly, over a period, their desires diminish and they begin to acquire momemtum. If Shradh is performed during an eclipse, the performer obtains the fruit of having donated the earth. <br /> <br />श्राद्ध करने के ये हैं लाभ। ब्रह्म पुराण के अनुसार 'जो व्यक्ति शाक के द्वारा श्रद्धा-भक्ति से श्राद्ध करता है, उसके कुल में कोई भी दुःखी नहीं होता।' बंधु-बांधवों के साथ अन्न-जल से किए गए श्राद्ध की तो बात ही क्या है, केवल श्रद्धा-प्रेम से शाक के द्वारा किए गए श्राद्ध से ही पितर तृप्त होते हैं। <br /> <br />#Shradh #PitruPaksh #HinduReligion
