According to Automotive News, a New York district judge wants a letter justifying a lawsuit, before approving a settlement.<br />U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan asked the Securities and Exchange Commission to prepare a joint letter with Tesla over a suit filed against the company's CEO.<br />The SEC sued Elon Musk and Tesla due to a tweet the CEO published about taking the publicly traded company private. <br />
