A crash on a "shallow bend" due to a diesel spillage will surely make drivers think twice when heading into a corner at speed.<br /><br />Kevin Lee, from Crawley, was on his way back from a country show on July 30 when he approached a bend "known for crashes".<br /><br />As his Land Rover Discovery rounds the corner, he slips on a puddle of diesel and spins out.<br /><br />"Shortly after, a Corsa driven by an off-duty police officer did the same thing," he added.<br /><br />The police reportedly confirmed the presence of diesel on the road.<br /><br />Posted to facebook, commenters were quick to point out the dangers of diesel on the road.<br /><br />"Diesel is as lethal as black ice," said one.<br /><br />Another added: "Nothing you can do about diesel. It’s like being on an ice rink."
