This was the moment protesters gathered outside the famous Sydney Opera House in Australia as the landmark now is host to a plethora of advertisements.<br /><br />The objecting Sydney citizens were gathered outside The Opera House today (October 9), to shine torches and obstruct advertisements being projected onto the structure. <br /><br />The nearly 6000 capacity venue has had its famous "Sails" subject to projections of the barrier draw for the Everest horse race. <br /><br />There has been a large local opposition to the cultural centre being used as a billboard, and over a quarter of a million people signed a petition to counter the decision.
