Beaches along the Gulf saw churning waves and high tides on Monday, October 8, as Hurricane Michael tracked closer.<br /><br />Forecast to make landfall in the Florida Panhandle on Wednesday, Michael was upgraded from a tropical storm to a hurricane earlier in the day.<br /><br />Footage from Dauphin Island, Alabama, shows a drive-shot through waterlogged roads as low-level flooding began to hit.<br /><br />Authorities predict that it will be the area's strongest hurricane in at least 13 years.
