According to Automotive News, self-driving cars may be on US roads for a limited pilot program.<br />The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the pilot program will foster a safe introduction of autonomous vehicles to US highways and roads.<br />But a document from the NHTSA indicated they are still considering aspects of the program, including the public release of crashes and accidents.<br />Also, the autonomous vehicles that will participate in the program have not been determined. <br />
