The unified Korean swimming team won a medal at the 2018 Asian Para Games in Indonesia on Wednesday,... a first by a unified Korean team at an international disabled sports event.<br /> The team finished third in the 400 meter freestyle relay in a time of four minutes-24-point-nine-five seconds,... after China and Japan.<br />Four South Koreans and three North Koreans made up the team and two swimmers from each competed in the qualification round. <br />But because only South Korean swimmers competed in the final...., the organizers initially allowed only the South Korean swimmers on the podium for the medal ceremony.<br />But after unified team's complaints..., two swimmers from the South and North stood on the podium to receive their first ever medal together. <br />
