Hissrich is reiterating her stance on honoring the series' Polish roots.<br />The source material in question here comes from Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski <br />Production on the series is ready to start, but already there's been outcry from fans.<br />Rumors stated the team was looking for a woman of color to play the character of Ciri. <br />A large part of the Polish community came out against the decision. <br />
