India's eastern coast suffered a beating as Cyclone Titli made landfall today.<br /><br />Winds of up to 150 kph (93 mph) struck the states of Andhra Pradesh and Orissa, leaving eight dead.<br /><br />Footage filmed on Thursday in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, shows trees being uprooted and heavy winds scattering debris.<br /><br />Near the coast, tides were measured of up to 10ft (3m) and storm surges were reported.<br /><br />Between 400,000 and 500,000 are now without electricity.
