Boil the broad beans in water with a dash of baking soda for 5 minutes. Strain and set aside.<br />Blend the tomato and garlic in the blender. Put some pork lard in a hot pan and fry the broad beans for a minute. Add the blended tomato, continue cooking stirring frequently until the ingredients are cooked. <br />In another pan, fry the bread pieces with pork lard until crunchy. Process in the blender with the cumin and some of the pork broth.<br /> When the broad beans are cooked, add the pork broth, blended fried bread, sliced serrano chili peppers and salt. Continue cooking until it thickens.<br />Serve hot.
