A Chinese tourist claimed he was beaten by a Thai airport security guard for not giving him tips. Thailand authorities have since sacked the guard, but noted that the Chinese tourist did not have sufficient documents and also acted inappropriately. The incident prompted an investigation into “tips” solicitation in Thailand.<br />
