Storm Callum has begun to hit parts of the UK with heavy rain and 60mph winds.<br /><br />Footage captured today, October 12, shows huge waves crashing into the sea wall in Penzance where strong gales were recorded earlier this morning.<br /><br />At least 30,000 homes are left without power in Ireland and South-West England.<br /><br />Warnings of flooding and travel disruption have been issued for northwest England, southwest Scotland, Lothian Borders, Wales, Yorkshire and Humber.
