Hurricane Michael left a trail of destruction after it ploughed into coastal areas of Florida on Wednesday.<br /><br />Footage captured on October 10 shows a coastal road in Alligator Point completely destroyed. <br /><br />The hurricane weakened to a storm and is now heading inland towards Georgia and the Carolinas.<br /><br />Michael was the third most intense continental U.S. landfall by pressure and fourth strongest by maximum sustained winds on record. The storm has killed at least six people.
