Stephen Hawking's <br />Final Paper Has <br />Been Published Online It was previously thought that Hawking's theory on the origin of the Universe, published on May 2, 2018, was the final paper to be published after his death. Now, another paper — detailing <br />black holes — has been published <br />in partnership with colleagues <br />from Cambridge and Harvard. Theoretical physicist Malcolm Perry finished the work on the paper after Hawking's death in March 2018. According to Perry, Hawking's work on the paper is a "pretty good step, but there is a lot more work to be done." Black holes were one of Hawking's favorite topics, and he contributed much to understanding them, Hawking's final paper, which has yet <br />to be peer-reviewed, is available on <br />the pre-print server at arXiv.org.
