정부, 2020년부터 발급할 예정인 차세대 전자여권 디자인 시안 공개<br /><br />The Ministry of Culture and the foreign ministry revealed their draft proposals for South Korea's new passport design... which will be used from 2020. <br />For the first time in 32 years, the cover will shed its green color and change to navy.<br />Each page will include illustrations of Korea's cultural heritage. <br />The passport numbers will also change, with an alphabet letter inserted in the middle... to increase the number of possible sequences.<br />The resident registration digits will be removed, to prevent leak of personal data.<br />The government will announce its final design in December, after taking public opinion into account. <br />
