We're now into day six of the National Assembly's audit of government ministries and agencies.<br />Up for debate today is the government's minimum wage hike,... as the labor committee inspects the Minimum Wage Commission.<br />The ruling party says.... the double-digit percentage increases for this year and the next... were necessary to raise the income of those in the low-income bracket,... while the opposition is calling for a slow down,... as well as different rates depending on the industry.<br />In the finance committee audit,... tempers are flaring as rival parties inspect the Korea Public Finance Information.<br />It's where opposition lawmaker Shim Jae-cheol had obtained and allegedly disclosed confidential government documents on the fiscal budget and other state statistics.<br />As Shim is currently under investigation for the case,... the ruling party said that he should be excluded from the inspection -- to which the main opposition party strongly objected. <br />
