Colin Bell has managed to finish probably one of the hardest walks of his life. He completed a journey of a thousand miles from John O’Groats in Scotland to Lands End in Cornwall.<br /><br />Bell started his trek in June and finished it on October 16 surrounded by his friends and family, after facing severe weather conditions as well as an unfortunate leg injury.<br /><br />Colin's impressive challenge has combined the trek with the extra challenge of completing three peaks. He climbed Mount Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis. <br /><br />“A lad gave me 38 pence, which he said was his sweet money just because he heard the story,” says Bell in the video while wiping away a tear.<br /><br />Bell did the trek to collect money for the charity ShelterBox, which provides temporary shelter and life-saving supplies to displaced families.
