Black and Hispanic Women Have Higher Risk of Dying in Childbirth A new study from the University of Michigan has found that black and Hispanic women are more likely to suffer complications during birth. These complications include blood clotting disorders <br />and heart failure. Non-Hispanic black women are 70% more likely to have serious problems during birth than non-Hispanic white women.
