Dispensaries across the country opened their doors for the first time to long lines of Canadian customers, marking the legalisation of recreational marijuana use in the country.<br /><br />Some reportedly reached dispensary SQDC four hours before the opening time of 10 am, local media reported. Customers cheered as doors finally opened.<br /><br />Medical marijuana has been legal in Canada since 2001. It is now the second country in the world, after Uruguay, to legalise it for recreational use.
