It's no secret that the San Francisco Bay Area is eye-wateringly expensive.<br />So much so, a new survey shows more than half of its tech employees are delaying starting a family.<br />Despite earning six-figure salaries, they can barely afford a place to live, let alone start a family.<br />According to Business Insider, putting off having children is a nationwide trend.<br />The average cost of raising a child is at an all-time high of $230,000. <br />
