President Trump has threatened to send the U.S. military to the southern border with Mexico to stop an incoming group of migrants from entering the United States.<br />A caravan of more than three thousand migrants from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala are heading north on foot to escape violence and poverty.<br />Trump made the threat in a series of tweets on Thursday, adding he may even close the border all together. <br />He also threatened to cut all aid payments to the three countries over illegal immigration - threats he has made before.<br />The U.S. is pressuring Mexico to control the caravan and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is due to meet with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto in Mexico City on Friday. <br />
