RAWALPINDI: Qatar’s Foreign Minister Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa here at the General Headquarters. <br /><br />According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutual interest, including regional security issues, were discussed during the meeting.<br /><br />The army chief said that Pakistan will continue to positively contribute towards regional peace and stability.<br /><br />In his remarks, the Qatari foreign minister acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan’s achievements in the fight against terrorism and continued efforts for peace and stability in the region.<br /><br />A day earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan invited Qatari investment in all sectors of Pakistan’s economy, especially in agriculture, livestock and energy.<br /><br />He met Qatar’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani who called on him in Islamabad.
