Rents finally seem to be dropping in a number of America's biggest metro areas.<br />In September, rents declined in more than half of the nation's 35 largest markets.<br />According to Business Insider, Zillow reports that's the first time in six years.<br />New York City's average rent dropped 1.9% to an average of $2,370.<br />Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington saw the biggest drops at 2.7% and 2.2% respectively. <br />
