A major fire in a derelict building send thick black smoke billowing through central Bristol this morning (October 21). <br /><br />The fire, near the city's harbour, sent smoke throughout the city centre, obscuring the iconic Mary Redcliffe Church.<br /><br />The filmer writes: "There were a hundred or so people commenting, taking pictures, worried, hoping no-one would be hurt. <br /><br />"The fire was on the other side of the river though, so safety wasn't an issue for the bystanders."
