It is a dry vegetable recipe that goes well with roti's. Do try it at home and let us know your feedback in the comments below.<br /><br /><br />Ingredients:<br />1 1/2 tbsp Oil<br />1 tsp Cumin seeds<br />2 Green Chillies, slit<br />1/4 tsp Asafoetida<br />3 Small Potato, diced<br />1/4 tsp Turmeric powder<br />Salt to taste<br />Water as required<br />1-1/2 cup Fenugreek Leaves, chopped<br />1/4 tsp Coriander&Cumin seeds powder<br /><br />Method of preparation:<br />Heat oil in a vessel, add cumin seeds, green chillies, asafoetida, potatoes, turmeric powder, salt and give it a toss. <br />Add water, mix well, cover it and let it cook till the potatoes are done.<br />Add fenugreek leaves, give it a mix and let the leaves cook for 2-33-4 minutes.<br />Add coriander&cumin seeds powder, mix well and turn off the flame.<br />Our Aloo Methi is ready to serve.
