K-pop star boyband BTS will receive a cultural medal at the Korea Entertainment Awards,.... an award ceremony run by the Ministry of Culture.<br />The boyband were chosen for their contribution to spreading Korean culture throughout the world.<br /> With an average age of less than 24,.... BTS will be the youngest ever recipients of the government award, and are the only K-pop idols to even have been nominated for it.<br />BTS will receive the award personally after arriving in Korea from the European leg of their world tour. <br />The Korea Entertainment Awards kicks off at Seoul's Olympic Hall at 4:30PM on Wednesday. <br />
