Manas Ranjan Mohanty, a member of Snake Helpline, rescued a cobra crossing a busy road in India.<br /><br />Manas spotted a large monocle cobra crossing a busy segment of Jajpur Road near Bhubaneswar, India.<br /><br />He quickly got off his bike to shield the cobra from other vehicles on the road. <br /><br />The other drivers, who saw what he was doing, also stopped their vehicles to let the cobra pass.<br /><br />Subhendu Mallik, general secretary of Snake Helpline, said: "These drivers have set a good example at a time of increasing vehicular mortality of snakes.”
