Stunning drone footage shows China's new 55-kilometre Hong Kong- Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, which officially opened on Tuesday.<br /><br />The structure is the world's longest sea bridge and connects Hong Kong, Macau and Zhuhai, three major cities on the Pearl River Delta.<br /><br />The bridge cuts hugely the commuting time between the cities. <br /><br />The previously four-hour drive between Zhuhai and Hong Kong will now take 45 minutes.<br /><br />One section of the crossing dives underwater into a 6.7-kilometre tunnel that creates a channel above for large cargo ship containers to pass through.<br /><br />Vehicles began crossing the bridge today (October 24th).
