The world’s longest sea bridge connecting Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macau welcomed around 30,000 travellers on its first day of service yesterday (October 24).<br /><br />The video shows passengers and travel groups gathering and queueing to enter the Zhuhai border.<br /><br />A shuttle bus can also be seen loading passengers about to cross the bridge.<br /><br />According to official records, more than 1,100 cars and 1,120 shuttle buses crossed the bridge on that day.<br /><br />After the bridge opened to traffic, it only takes half an hour from Zhuhai to Hong Kong by vehicle, which is more than two hours by ship.
