Their purpose will be assisting <br />authorities to stop a caravan of <br />migrants from Central America. The caravan of roughly <br />1,000 migrants are currently <br />moving through Mexico. Many will seek <br />asylum in the U.S. once <br />they reach the border. The troops will provide <br />technical support by providing <br />fencing and wall materials. Sources say they will not <br />engage in lethal action as <br />a means of stopping the migrants. The troops are <br />expected to be in position<br />as early as next week.
