Business Insider reports that Sweetgreen is on it's way to being a $1 billion dollar business. <br />As of Friday, they raised $200 million in a new round of funding led by Fidelity Investments, which will help them get to the billion mark.<br />Business Insider details, "The fast-casual salad chain has grown rapidly since it launched in 2007, opening stores around the US, and launching a mobile ordering platform."<br />Sweetgreen was started by Nathaniel Ru, Nicolas Jammet, and Jonathan Neman in 2007. <br />
