A man has been charged in Florida with federal crimes in connection to sending at least 14 letter bombs to leading Democrats and others critical of U.S. President Donald Trump.<br /> Fifty-six-year-old Cesar (sen-nick) Sayoc faces up to 48 years in prison, if found guilty.<br />The charges against him include mailing explosives and threatening ex-presidents.<br />Items have been sent in recent days to figures including ex-President Barack Obama, Congresswoman Maxine Waters and actor Robert de Niro.<br /> In a news conference Friday,... FBI Director Christopher Wray said (sen-nick) Sayoc was detained after his fingerprint was discovered on one of the packages.<br />Following news of the arrest, President Trump said the acts were "despicable and have no place in our country". <br />
