Trump slammed critics who said there had been a lack of progress on North Korea's denuclearization,... saying the two sides are only four months into negotiations to try and end 70 years of conflict.<br />He added that without him, there would've been a world war.<br />At another rally in Illinois,... President Trump again reiterated his role in preventing what he said could've been another major war with the North.<br />He also mentioned fences around the DMZ in Korea,... calling it a "serious wall" with "a lot of electric currents going through it".<br />President Trump is seemingly unconcerned about having any timeline for the regime's denuclearization,... as long as there's no further nuclear testing by the North. <br />While North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has previously mentioned January 2021, before the end of President Trump's first term in office as the goal,... <br />Trump said he does not want to "play the time game",... instructing his Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to avoid setting any timelines.<br />Lee Seung-jae, Arirang News. <br />
