World's Biggest Amphibious Plane Takes Flight

On Saturday, the AG600 completed its first takeoff and landing on water at a reservoir in China's central Hubei province. The AG600 is the world's largest amphibious airplane.<br />The plane is also known as the Kunlong and was developed independently by China. according to China's state-owned Xinhua news agency, it took off from the water and landed steadily after a 14-minute flight.<br />The 121-foot-long aircraft is about 40 feet tall and has a 127-foot wingspan. <br />
