In a thrilling scene, a crane driver leapt off his vehicle before it flipped over down a hillside during rescue work in Shiyan City in Central China on October 26.<br /><br />Video of the rescue shows a man suddenly jumping out of the crane after it leans heavily to one side before tumbling from the roadside edge it was balanced upon.<br /><br />According to local reports, the crane lost its balance because of improper operation.<br /><br />The driver fainted and had several injuries after his escape and was sent to hospital for treatment, reports said.
