Do try this recipe at home and send us your feedback in the comments below.<br /><br />Ingredients:<br />For Dhokla<br />Chana Dal, soaked & ground<br />Green chillies<br />Ginger<br />Garlic<br />Salt to taste<br />1/2 tsp Turmeric<br />Oil for greasing<br /><br />For Sev Khamani<br />3-4 tbsp Oil<br />1/1 tsp Mustard seeds<br />1/2 tsp Asafoetida<br />Dhokla<br />Juice of 1/2 lime<br />1 tbsp Sugar<br />Coriander<br />1 tbsp Coconut, grated<br />Sev, Coconut, Pomegranate for garnishing<br /><br />Method of preparation:<br />For Dhokla<br />Preheat the steamer.<br />Soak the chana dal for 5-6 hours in water and grind it into pase with ginger, garlic and green chillies.<br />Add salt, turmeric to the paste and mix well.<br />Take a container and grease it with oil.<br />Transfer the batter to the container and place it inside a steamer.<br />Seam the dhokla for 10-12 minutes.<br />Our Dhokla is ready, keep it aside to cool.<br /><br />For Sev Khamani<br />Heat oil in a vessel, add mustard seeds, asafoetida, scrambles dhokla and mix well.<br />Close the lid and cook it for one minute.<br />Switch off the flame, add lime juice, sugar and mix well.<br />Add coriander, coconut and mix well.<br />Serve in a plate and garnish it with sev, coriander, pomegranate seeds and coconut.<br />Our Sev Khamani is ready to eat.<br />
