This was the shocking moment a horse race in north India descended into chaos, when one of the riders lost control of his mount and trampled a crowd of spectators.<br /><br />Footage from yesterday (October 30) shows several bystanders, including children, being bundled over and stamped on by the rampaging horse before the rider managed to bring it to a halt. <br /><br />The festival goers suffered injuries to their hands and legs but recovered after being treated with first aid in the hospital. <br /><br />Among the injured were men, women and children who had been enjoying a day out at the races in Punjab, India.
