Supreme Court to rule on 'conscientious objectors' to military service

For the first time in 14 years,... South Korea's Supreme Court is set to give its final ruling on 'conscientious objectors' to military service.<br /> Today's ruling comes as the Constitutional Court ruled the government must provide alternative civilian roles for those who decline to take up arms due to religious reasons back in June.<br />An 18 month prison sentence of a Jehovah's Witness in 2013 sparked the controversy.<br />There are currently more than 200 conscientious objectors currently in prison. <br />
