The UN Security Council is discussing easing sanctions imposed on North Korea (QUOTE-UNQUOTE) "at an appropriate time."<br />China's ambassador to the UN, Ma Zhaoxu, said on Thursday.... that Security Council resolutions related to North Korea contain (quote)"reversible provisions" that can provide adjustments in light of the regime's compliance.<br />Mentioning the positive developments in inter-Korean and North Korea-U.S. relations,.... Ma said,... China and some other Security Council members believe "it's necessary for the Security Council to consider invoking the reversible provisions at an appropriate time."<br />He added the timing hinges on the development of the situation and the opinions of other members of the Security Council. <br />
